信步徐來，數朵彩霞江上坐
飄然歸去，幾聲青鳥日邊停
靜觀默察，桃源不羨凡塵鬧
長考深思，隱士自娛麗水清

The Peach Garden And The Beautiful Water

Step by step slow to come
a few pink clouds sat on the river
Floating in the air returned
with the several sounds
stopped beside the sun
the green birds

Considering in depth
a hermit amused himself
the beautiful water clear
Silent to observe
the Peach Garden
didn’t envy the noising mortal world

In summer lie in the pavilion of bamboos and pines
The bright teeth sing the cloudy valley
The mountains and rivers as pillows and screens

枫似答笺，风寒红叶已堆霜
胸有成竹，画家执笔描烟色
家无常礼，骚客枕书梦句香

The Painter And The Poet

A cloud like a question mark
a sparrow visited the vast sky
why did it fear a wild goose?
A maple leaf like the paper to answer
wind was cold
with frost the red leaves had covered

Had a well-thought-out plan
the painter held a brush
to describe the smoke colors
There is no need to be polite when living together
the poet pillowed a book
dreamt the verses were fragrant


Note: first and second sentences by Zhenbolangqing.
Third and fourth sentences by Luo Zhihai.

冷雨北風吹，南粵寒聲今始肇
陰霾天氣濕，麓湖野色早愁吟
菊花揚魅力，露纏竹杠晶晶淚
桂樹吐芬芳，蟬啞山川寂寂林

The First Cold Air In Autumn

With the cold rain
the north wind blew
in Guangdong
today began to make the cold sounds
In the wet and hazy weather
in the Lu Lake
the wild scenery
in the morning
groaned sadly

Chrysanthemums showed their charms
dew twined bamboo poles
tears being translucent and glittering
Laurels spitted out the fragrances
cicadas not sound
in the mountains and rivers
the forest silently

The mountain heart is carefree
the clear spring whistling
The spring colors is fragrant
the tender stamens and pistils are pretty

Swallows dancing and orioles singing
greet the flourishing age
The wind is mild and the sun is bright
eulogize the new sky

無意約登臨
悶哽千枝樹

Fallen Leaves

In the whole ridge maples appeared senility
Around slope leaves sedimentation

The wild geese cried
were sad and not fluent

Persons were bitter
were mercenary and sensual

The cold dew distances from far ground and sky
The scared autumn moved guest’s mind

Worldly affairs from banquet
Homesickness placed on the Yao zither

Worth to appear music in dream
Alone handled things of lakes and rivers

Have poems to be inscribed, sung and chanted
Have no intention to invite, climb and enter

Gloomy and choking, the tree with a thousand branches
Gold all over the ground, grieved and bitter

Pitied wind, blew the thin shadow
Touched woods, wetted front of a garment

Chant Persimmons

The cloudy pines point emerald
become luxuriant shadows
The frosty persimmons hang red
the whole tree is dense

One after another
looping mountains and connecting the sky
Untrimmed wildness
flowing and reflecting the golden autumn

High heaven has a mind
rewards sweetly and richly
The white dew are noiseless
moisten and repay richly

The fragrant pedicels clotted crisps
pick them many
The fragrant mouth feel
rippling honey
as far as possible eating them greedily
