In The Land Of Hibiscus

Moon cold
withered vines thought the green mind
Intoxicate time
wine warm in the jade glass
On the Orange Isle
all sprays
In the Land of Hibiscus
all fragrant grass

春梦醒来花渐谢
轻舟过后浪难停
红鱼几尾勾荷趣
紫燕一双牵柳情


Red Fish


The spring dream woke up
flowers gradual to wither
After a light boat passed
waves hard to be stopped
Several red fish
caused lotus’ interest
Double purple swallows
affected willow’s feeling

满池菡萏绽新花
蜻蜓飞舞迷人眼
蝴蝶盘旋听鼓蛙
堤柳嫩丝风荡漾
竹林翠海鸟啼哗
暗香浮动诗心起
夏色翩然笔墨夸


Summer

A couple of mandarin ducks
played the green water
Full pool of the lotus flowers
in nwe  bloom
Dragonflies flew
enchanted people’s eyes
Butterflies hovered
listened to frogs’ croaks
Wind rippled the tender willow silks
on the shore
In the emerald bamboo forest sea
birds twittered and made noises
The dark fragrance floated
the poetic heart engendered
The summer colors lightly
pens and ink praised
